Where to add custom CSS/JavaScript

In Essential Grid, there are dedicated places where custom CSS and JavaScript can be added. This FAQ will cover both.

1. Custom CSS

Inside your Grid’s main settings page, click the “Skins” tab, and then click the “Selected Skin” button to see which skin your Grid is using.

Next, from the Item Skin Editor find your skin and click the “Edit” button.

Then click the “Edit CSS” button found toward the top right of the page:

Finally, add your custom CSS and save.

Then once the CSS popup window closes, click the green “Save” icon found directly below the “Custom CSS” button icon:

2. Custom JavaScript

Navigate to your Grid’s main settings page, and click the “API/JavaScript” tab, and as always, click the “Save Grid” button to officially save the changes.
