New Feature: Cookies!
The new Cookie feature will remember the state of the grid when a user returns to the page.This is useful for when users navigate away from the page, and then return a few minutes later.
With Essential Grid’s filter, search and pagination options, it often makes sense to remember what state the grid was previously in if a user were to return to the page at a later time. Because of this, we’ve added a new cookie option that can be optioned for all navigation possibilities.
If all three are optioned, the grid will first load the user’s previous search results. Then the previous filter results would be loaded. And finally, the grid’s pagination state would be remembered.
- IMPORTANT: EU Law requires that a notification be shown to the user when cookies are being used. So be sure to notify your web visitors if this applies to you.
